The horizontal portion of the trigger above and in front of the finger had some unseen dirt between it and the frame. I believe I found it, at least it hasn't returned in 250+ rounds. I see I'm not alone with this problem: but no offer of advise noted. Short of this problem, I'm really liking this pistol! Do you think this will solve the fail to fire problem? I'm thinking of glueing a shim onto the grip to hold that stuff in towards the body of the slide. The shaft on the part that engages the magazine can work out towards the grip as well, and one of the 3 magazines doesn't engage it. The grips are custom, the original owner didn't have the stock grips, box or anything, just this 95% pistol with Tasco ProPoint red dot and 5.5"bbl. Should this be in close proximity to the grip or should there be the 3/32" gap that allows it to partially fall out and likely cause the failure? What I noticed and am asking about, is this transfer bar has a raised portion near the middle of its length. I've lightly tweaked the spring and cleaned very carefully under it and it helps, but on occasion it won’t engage at all and won't fire. The transfer bar (don't know the official term) from the trigger to the seer release doesn't always raise up to pull the seer. 22 league and it raised my score by 200 points! I love this thing!!!Īfter taking it home and giving it a good cleaning as recommended for the stovepipes it gave with Fed AutoMatch, it has a new problem.
